what does root to radiate mean?

I created my mantra “ROOT TO RADIATE” at the end of a yoga class and it has become a grounding force and system that helps me live in a more loving, compassionate, joyful and peaceful state of Being towards myself and others.

When I am in an energy funk, or stuck in my critical, conditioned mind where the false beliefs and thoughts take over such as  “not being good enough” “not doing enough” or “I am only lovable and worthy if…” My mantra ROOT TO RADIATE serves as a comforting system for grounding, connecting to my soul's wisdom and tuning in to my higher self.

“I am deeply ROOTED in the earth,

I FLOW with the waves of life with grace,

I RADIATE from the essence of my being,

light and love.”

the 4 pillars of root to radiate

Heart.jpg

HEART

Am I nourishing my heart root by feeling ALL my feelings, rather than resist them? Am I being loving and compassionate towards myself as I would do my child or best friend? Am I allowing myself to BE with any heavy emotions so I can Feel them to heal, release and create more space for joy and appreciation?

MIND

Am I nourishing my mind by listening and absorbing loving, wanted thoughts while letting unwanted, disempowering, “I should” thoughts go? Am I being the observer of my thoughts rather than BEING them? Am I acknowledging and appreciating all that IS going well?

body

Am I nourishing my body by truly listening and honoring what it needs and when I need to move and when I need to rest? Am I feeling Love and appreciation for all that my body is capable of? Am I eating clean, nourishing foods and tapping into the power of my breath, my most valuable resource to fuel my energy?

SOUL

Am I trusting in my path and that life is happening for me, not to me? Am I trusting that every challenge serves as an opportunity to awaken, and expand.

“When we truly nourish our heart, mind, body and soul, we can radiate from the essence of our being, a wholesome place of light and love.”
